Participation in 25th ICID Congress and 74th IEC Meeting

The NENCID team led by Mr. Susheel Chandra Acharya, President of NENCID and Director General of Department of Water Resources and Irrigation visited Adelaide, Australia to participate in the 24th ICID international congress and 73rd International Executive Council Meeting. The team also included Mr. Tikaram Baral, General Secretary of NENCID and Deputy Director General of DWRI, Mr. Mitra Baral, Project Director of Sunkoshi Marin Diversion Multipurpose Project and member of NENCID and Ms. Jigyasha Rai Yangkhurung, Executive Member, NENCID.

The team attended the conference, participated in the respective working group meetings and joined the IEC meeting as well. The team also visited Murray Irrigation System to understanding the prevailing irrigation system and their operation and management in Australia.
